Kemenangan ini mengukuhkan dominasi region Western Europe di panggung tertinggi Dota 2, sekaligus membawa pulang Aegis of Champions dan hadiah utama senilai US$1,1 juta dari total prize pool US$2,6 juta.
Juara TI 2025: Falcons Cetak Sejarah
Dengan kemenangan ini, Falcons menjadi tim ketujuh dari Western Europe yang berhasil meraih gelar juara TI. Oliver “Skiter” Lepko dan Jing “Sneyking” Wu mencatatkan diri sebagai pemain dua kali juara TI, setelah sebelumnya meraih Aegis bersama Tundra Esports di TI 2022.
Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak, Ammar “ATF” Assaf, dan Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen juga mencatatkan sejarah pribadi dengan meraih gelar juara dunia pertama mereka. Cr1t- secara khusus menjadi sorotan karena akhirnya meraih Aegis setelah tampil di sembilan edisi TI sebelumnya.
Sementara itu, sang pelatih Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling mencetak rekor baru sebagai individu pertama yang meraih tiga gelar TI, baik sebagai pemain maupun pelatih. Ia sebelumnya menjuarai TI 2015 bersama Evil Geniuses dan TI 2022 sebagai pelatih Tundra Esports.

Xtreme Gaming Gagal Rebut Aegis, Ame Kembali Terhenti di Final
Xtreme Gaming harus puas di posisi runner-up dengan hadiah lebih dari US$340.000. Meski tampil impresif sepanjang turnamen, tim asal Tiongkok ini gagal mengakhiri paceklik gelar yang telah berlangsung sejak Wings Gaming menjuarai TI 2016.
Wang “Ame” Chunyu, carry andalan Xtreme, kembali gagal meraih Aegis meski sudah tampil di tujuh edisi TI. Kekalahan di game kelima Grand Final TI 2025 menambah daftar pahit bagi Ame, yang sebelumnya juga kalah di game penentuan pada TI 2018 dan TI 2021.

Harapan Baru untuk Dota 2 Tiongkok
Meski gagal membawa pulang Aegis, performa Xtreme dan tim-tim Tiongkok lainnya di TI 2025 menandai kebangkitan scene Dota 2 di kawasan tersebut. Setelah beberapa tahun mengalami penurunan, TI 2025 menjadi titik balik yang positif, terlebih dengan diumumkannya Shanghai sebagai tuan rumah TI 2026 pada Agustus mendatang.
